TO PAY OR NOT TO PAY, THAT IS THE QUESTION

By DAVE GENDRON
As I traveled from car show to car show in the last year and especially now in these pretty tough times, the question that keeps coming up from car folks is the nagging question: Should the local car show event organizers be charging fees to get into these shows? I'm not talking about charity shows, where fees are charged for a good cause, but regular car shows. Most car folks will agree: if it is a benefit car show, they would probably attend “if” they had the option to give what they felt or could afford.
Let's face it. Times are pretty tough and gas prices are still high, so car folks have to choose. Most will agree: if it's a show that is charging an entrance fee, they won't go.

So, we at Motoring Tampa Bay want your opinion. Should car shows charge an entrance fee? You can email us at motoringtampabay@gmail.com or motoringtampabayads@gmail.com We'll post the results on our website and in a future issue of Motoring Tampa Bay.

Thanks and Happy Motoring!!
